This course introduces the basic concepts of adaptive control systems including parameter estimation, self tuning regulators, and model reference adaptive control. Design techniques and implementation algorithms are presented. Theoretical issues related to performance, stability, and robustness are dicussed.
- Technical English languageĀ (EPM601)
- This course studies the basic principles of mechatronic servos. This includes modeling and control. Both continuous-time and discrete-time systems are considered. The main control loop are explained in detail. Simulation using MATLAB is utilized to demonstrate all concepts in this course.
Computer control systems are common in the industry. In this course we show how to model, analyze and design digital control systems. Modeling will include converting systems from continuous to discrete space models. Analysis will investigate controllability, observability, and stability. Design includes both state space and polynomial approaches.
