Talks and presentations are invited from industrial establishments relevant to the program. The guest speaker shall shed some lights on the organization, management, and recent technologies implemented in his industrial establishment. Students shall exercise writing a report on the guest presentation and some students are asked to give a presentation on the same subject.
The course is graded as Pass/Fail system.
- The structural analysis -2 is the second course in structural analysis. The course deals with calculating deformations due to loads and other causes, analyzing statically indeterminate structures using consistent deformations method and load distribution method, and buckling of columns.
The course is developed to fit the needs of architectural, structural, civil, construction and water resources students. - This is an introduction to computer and engineering for freshman of the credit hour system, faculty of engineering, cairo university. The course objectives are: (1) Create flow charts that illustrate algorithmic thinking. Use flow charts in preparing to write C programs. (2) Follow and document each step in the Problem Solving Method (input, output, solve by hand, develop algorithm, convert to code, test code). (3) Use the programming language C to write computer programs that solve engineering problems. (4) Use data types, input/output commands, loops, control structures, functions, arrays, and other programming language constructs in C computer programs.
This course will be conducted to the Engineers' students in the Faculty of Engineering Credit Hour by Chemical Engineering Department which will cover some Engineering Chemistry topics such as:
- Chemical Foundation
- Ideal Gases

Basic Engineering Design requires its students to constantly exercise their practical problem solving skills and creativity. Wonder about the best way to protect an egg that’s thrown into a wall? You might be required to design a device that will preserve it. Have a bag of random mechanical bits and pieces? You might be given a time limit in which to create a robotic device.
