This course will give students a firm understanding and working knowledge of statistical techniques for time series analysis. In this course we will study the basic concepts and tools of time series analysis. Classical and modern approaches to analyze a time series in the time domain are considered. By the end of the semester students will be able to perform a complete time series analysis for any real life data.
نتعرض فى الاحصاء الاستدلالى للاساليب الاحصائية التى تمكننا من استخدام بيانات العينة فى التعرف على خواص المجتمع محل الدراسة. وتنقسم الاساليب التى يتضمنها منهج الاحصاء الاستدلالى الى شقين اساسيين هما: التقدير واختبارات الفروض. وسوف يتم التعرض لنطرية التقدير بفترة ثقة لمعلمات المجتمع ثم نتعرف على بعض اختبارات الفروض المعلمية منها وغير المعلمية. بنهاية العام الدراسى يكون الطالب قد اخذ فكرة اساسية وسريعة عن اساليب الاستدلال الاحصائى الذى قد يحتاج اليها طالب قسم الاجتماع فى كلية الاداب
In Regression Analysis (S325) we study the concepts and tools of the regression analysis. You will know how to estimate and test your model. You will be introduced to the diagnostics and remedial measures to refine your regression model and improve its quality. S325 gives you a firm understanding of the philosophical and theoretical basis of regression analysis. By the end of the semester you will be able to perform a complete regression analysis for any real life data.
